Please find attached a flyer for the A-F Show next 20-2 May 2011 here at the
Fire Museum of Maryland. Also a registration form is attached. The latter
may be a bit early to distribute but it contains some more info that you may
find helpful. There are lots of details yet to be worked out so smaller
items will change.

I trust that you are planning to be here and if you can possibly do so,
please bring your Fox. We will do interior storage at the FMM on a
first-come reservation basis, with the caveat that if something really rare
that must be inside the Museum, we might have to make a shift. There will be
secured parking for the Foxes and parking for the tractor-trailers. I may be
able to get all of these inside...am working on this.

The hotel is the Crowne Plaza 2.1 miles north of here. They have given us a
special rate of $109 per night for a double. Preakness is in town and that's
the best that they could do. It is an excellent hotel and restaurant.

If you know that you are coming, even tentatively, and can say if you would
buy a bar-B-Q ticket of some kind on Friday night, it would help Bob and me
plan for food. Saturday's lunch will be a simple vendor on site. Saturday
night's dinner will be at the hotel where the presentations will unfold
later.

Last week the chief of the York FD said that they would have their 1933 CT4
(in near perfect condition) here. We have about $700 in the fund for trophy
and diesel fuel fund sponsors. If you would send a gift today to help, we
are planning to make funds available to reimburse those who need diesel fuel
costs covered, or partially covered. Donors will also be recognized as
trophy donors.

That's it for the moment except to say that my email list of A-F owners or
lovers is getting longer. If you are just hearing about this event for the
first time, please don't feel badly: we're just now working on getting the
word out.
